London Calling

It’s no secret that I love London. It was my first big international vacation as a child, where I studied abroad as a teenager and somewhere I have returned to often as an adult. In fact, I started the New Year in London, returned to kick off the summer and now am headed back to welcome in fall.

In other words, “Hi from the airport!”

Thats right, London, I’m on my way back to you!

There has been something steadying about coming back to the city multiple times over the course of this year. I have a favorite coffee shop, a favorite park to run in, a favorite place to relax. Heck, I even have a favorite toastie (aka the British version of a grilled cheese - my favorite food group).

When I was here earlier this summer I was just finding my footing in the world of solo travel. This time, in terms of an itinerary, I think I’ve found the perfect combination of exploration, relaxation and a little bit of a splurging here and there.

I cannot wait to share it all!

But for now, I’ve got a glass of champagne calling my name. ✈️
